  • Cheftains is a ready-to-cook gourmet meal delivery service in Singapore.

    You select from a menu of restaurant-quality recipes you would like to cook each week, and we will portion and deliver all the fresh ingredients required for the recipe of choice along with simple step-by-step instructions to prepare the meal. No need to trek to the grocery store, trawl the web for recipes, and best of all, no food wastage!

    Created by home chefs for home chefs, we provide everything you need to create restaurant-quality meals in under 45 minutes. Check out our How it Works section for more information, then shop our menu, and get cooking!

  • Each order must contain a minimum of 2 servings

    Our pricing per serving ranges from as low as S$8.50 to S$26, depending on the complexity of the recipe and cost of ingredients required.

    Recipes with more exclusive and uncommon ingredients such as black winter truffle caviar, fresh kale and quinoa will cost more than recipes with simple ingredients like egg and tofu.

    A flat delivery fee applies to all orders under S$50.

  • What you get in your recyclable black bag are the recipe(s) you've selected along with all the pre-portioned fresh ingredients you need to make that delicious recipe at home.

    Please note that we do not provide cooking equipment and kitchen tools like saucepans and pots.

    A list of kitchen equipment as well as any basic condiments (like salt and pepper) that you would need to create any of our dishes, will be listed on the recipe description page, as well as directly on the recipe card. While you are recipe shopping, please be reminded to check that you have all of these items before adding the recipe to cart to avoid being inconvenienced later on.

  • These are some of the basic ingredients that most homes have:

    • Salt (Table or sea salt)
    • Pepper
    • Vegetable oil

  • Yes of course you can! We offer both electronic and physical gifting options. .

    Even though our team is out of the office on weekends, someone will be on standby to address any queries you may have with regards to deliveries.

    We will try our best to get to your queries and requests as soon as possible, but please note that any emails or phone calls received during off-hours will be answered the following business day.

  • Our menu is refreshed weekly and features 6 recipes that suit a range of tastes and dietary preferences - meat-lovers, pescatarians, vegetarians and on occasion, we offer "low-carb" options for regular gym rats and sweet treats for those who love desserts!

    If you have food allergies, tell us! Certain ingredients may be swapped out upon request.

    All our recipes have clear, step-by-step instructions, so even the most novice cook can prepare a delicious meal in under 45 minutes.

  • Yes, each order must contain a minimum of 2 servings. You can choose to place an order for single servings of 2 recipes, or 1 recipe with 2 servings. Desserts, which are usually sold in servings of 4, are eligible for check out as well.

    If you're feeding a party of more than 10 people, it is recommended that you drop us an email at hello@cheftains.com so we can assist you with your order.

  • Unfortunately, we do not cater to specific dietary requirements such as Paleo, Vegan or Gluten-free at this point.

    Each recipe listed on our menu will have a list of ingredients included in the recipe, so you would be able to see exactly what you would get prior to ordering.

    Please note that we are unable to guarantee that our meals are free of allergens. Each order comes with unprocessed, individually packed ingredients, if you have mild allergies*, you may simply omit or replace the allergen with another ingredient.

    *If you have food allergies, tell us! Certain ingredients may be swapped out upon request.

  • While some of our meals are not considered "healthy" (sorry, but we really love our crispy pork!), cooking with fresh ingredients is infinitely better than relying on frozen meals or heavy take-out.

    One of the benefits of cooking at home, is that you'll be able to eliminate and control the amount of salt, oil and other nasties that goes into your meal.

    1. Go to our home page: www.cheftains.com
    2. Click 'Sign in' on the upper right side of the website
    3. Fill in your email address and password and click 'Sign in'
    4. Click on "Menu" on the top right corner of the page.
    5. Choose your preferred delivery address and time slot
    6. Select the recipes you wish to receive, choose the quantity and click 'Add to cart'. You may also adjust the quantity and remove items in your cart.
    7. After making your selection, go to the shopping basket icon in the upper right corner and click "checkout now".
    8. Check your order summary and enter your promo code (if any) then click on "Proceed to checkout"
    9. On the payment page please fill in your credit card details then click on "Pay now!" If you are paying via PayPal, kindly click on the "Pay with Paypal" at the bottom left and you will be directed to PayPal site for payment.
    10. You will receive an order confirmation shortly via your registered email.
    11. You can also check your order history to keep tabs on your order.
  • If you would like to make any changes to your order, please inform us at least 48 hours before your scheduled delivery date and we will try our best to accommodate your request. The sooner the better!

    Orders cannot be cancelled once they are placed. As we deal with highly perishable food, we would be unable to resell the ingredients at its peak quality.

    Cheftains reserve the right to charge the customer a cancellation fee up to the cost of the order, in the event that we were only notified after the order has been packed and ready for delivery.

  • Head over to "my account" at the top menu bar and log in to view your order history. If you have any specific queries regarding your order, please email us at hello@cheftains.com.

  • Please check our home page for our delivery time slots available. We have limited delivery slots available for each window so we encourage you to place your order in advance to guarantee the slot you prefer.

    We do not deliver on weekdays during this time, but there are future plans to do so.

  • If your order is S$50 and above, delivery is free! If your order is below $50, we charge a flat delivery fee of S$5.

  • Yes. We maintain strict food hygiene standards in line with AVA requirements so all orders need to be received and signed for. We are unable to leave your order at your doorstep so please ensure that an appropriate person is present to acknowledge the delivery.

  • If you are unable to inform us ahead of time and miss your delivery, please contact us via email via hello@cheftains.com and we will do our best to reschedule your delivery as soon as we can.

    Do note that if there is no one is at the delivery address to receive the order during your chosen delivery slot, we reserve the right to charge you a re-delivery fee.

  • A change of delivery address after checkout is not permitted. If the delivery address needs to be changed after an order has been placed, this order will first have to be cancelled and then reordered at the new address. Please refer to our cancellation policy.

    Do note that if there is no one is at the delivery address to receive the order during your chosen delivery slot, we will arrange for a re-delivery at a later time on a best effort basis. Cheftains also reserves the right to charge you a re-delivery fee.

  • The Cheftains team works hard to deliver your order within your preferred slot of delivery. Each order is specially packed for you and delivered fresh to your doorstep.

  • All of our ingredients are pre-proportioned, packed and grouped into "dish bags" according to the recipes you ordered.

    To save you tonnes of time sorting through all the ingredients and having to retrieve them later, we've placed all the items that need to go into the fridge into a bag, labelled with the recipe that it belongs to. The dry items that need to be stored outside the fridge are packed neatly into a box, also labelled with the name of the recipe.
